We planned by using mostly online resources as to how digipaks are laid out and how it is marketed. In addition we also look at contemporary country digipaks, to display our researches i posted it onto my wix account. Because websites and digipaks are both strongly infused with the star persona, as well as looking at their digipaks we also look at the artist's websites, we found that they use similar tones of colours and consistent fonts. After we drew out different designs we want for out digipak and selected one we did a photoshoot the day after with mostly hardwares such as camera and tripod. We then transfered the digital file via USB card onto my computer ready to be peiced together. After adjusting the contrast, brightness and overlapping two photos together we then transfered the pictures into illustrator where we have our digipak guideline and peiced it together. Once it is completed and finalised it is then printed into a digipak format.
AIM
We aimed to create a mysterious star persona for our artist as well as make her seem like a serious artist who wants to pursue her career successfully with her self-written songs and not using her appearance to promote her songs, but let the song reach out to the audience's heart. Which is representative of her drawn face instead of a photo of her as she wanted to pursue her career by writing songs, therefore by the tip of her pen, we also draw the front cover's outline for her first album to signify
DIGIPAK COVER
The digipak cover is conventional as this is Valentina's first album therefore her face is on the digipak, however unlike the other established artists, it is a drawn version of her.
We can see her face very clearly in the photo as well as her long hair which was her trade mark. She looks very elegant as well as youthful.

We also inserted a quote 'I can spend my whole life hiding my heart away' to encourage those who are heartbroken.
WHITE MARBLE
Artists such as Niki Minaj, Justin Beiber and other established artist has colours that they create a 'sign' of as they relate the colour to the stars. Niki Minaj is pink whilst Justin Beiber is purple, Valentina also has the colour of white marble. We used this colour in both our website and digipak to make the colour 'hers'.
TRACK LIST
The back panel contains song lists, however we wanted to make the song track which links to one another, since Valentina is a singer-songwriter therefore her songs comes together as a story as it is based on her life. Moreover the box outside links all the song together. Unlike other albums that provides a track list as a list we make all the songs in a cycle as we want to create a story from all the songs combined.

Like all album's back panel we also have the company logo as well as the barcode at the back along with the company's website and copyright texts.
UNCONVENTIONAL
We have yet to include our artist's name on the album cover to create a mysterious persona as well as moving the spotlight towards her product more than her self as a celebrity.
WHITE MARBLE
Marble represents people's characteristics which was carved under pressure, burden and expectation just like how the marble was formed under pressure.
FALLING PETALS
The petals and the drawing of Valentina's face has the same colour as it represents her heart that is scarred from her expereinces therefore the flower that once blossomed in her heart is withering away. Which is representative of those who are broken hearted
LINE DRAWING
The line drawing of him represents her career life as she is perceived in the way she writes her songs. Therefore this is representative of those whose life and career is based on the tip of their pen and their ability to draw or write which determines their image and career life.
BOX
The box around her track list songs shows and encapsulates the theme of this album which is to restrain themeselves from feeling. Therefore this box that surrounds the track list shows that the songs she wrote is exploding with feelings however she has to restrain from expressing her feelings. This then links in with the quote we wrote on the inside panel "I can spend my whole life hiding my heart away." and moreover our the title of this album 'inside', which implies that although on the outside someone might look fine but on the inside there is a surge of emotion, which is the key of this album that explodes with emotions that have been repressed for so long.
